Hanna Ro, PA-C
A board-certified Physician Assistant who provides care at our outpatient clinic in Anaheim, California. She strives to care for her patients with evidence-based medicine as well as holistic, individualized and culture-sensitive approach, collaborating with our gastroenterologists as a team. One of her greatest joys is seeing her patients walk out the room with a clear understanding of their conditions with their questions answered and with reassurance for their recovery and healing with a solid plan for management of their conditions.
Hanna was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Los Angeles. Hanna is fluent in Korean and well versed with taking care of Korean speaking patients in a culture sensitive manner. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then pursued her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at MCPHS University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She completed both didactic and clinical training in core specialties including family, internal and emergency medicine. She then earned her license to practice in the state of California after passing the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam. She has experience in providing general inpatient care at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California.
Individuals who visit Hanna can expect to be treated for a multitude of gastrointestinal concerns. Hanna helps diagnose and treat an array of conditions including anemia, dysphagia, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, abdominal pain and rectal bleeding. She provides counseling for colonoscopies, upper endoscopies and screening for GI malignancy. She also works in conjunction with Drs. Jason Yip, Richard Yip, and Amit Bhanvadia to treat complex cases including hepatic, biliary, and inflammatory bowel disease.
During her free time, Hanna enjoys going to concerts, hiking, traveling, looking for new dessert places in the local area and spending time with her friends and family.
